"Lovely place, lodge was clean, had everything you would need, over looking the lake, space for parking car too, we went swimming which was great, took the kids in the games room which they enjoyed, had two meals in the Restaurant, they were lovely and you get alot, we had a nice two break and very relaxing."

"Unique place to stay when your room looks out over the football pitch and stadium. Wouldn’t say it’s a 4* hotel though. Bed was very hard, and the sofa bed for the kids was like them sleeping on springs and they both complained of bad backs the next morning. Staff were friendly and breakfast was ok. All in all for the price and location it’s not bad "

"I think the best experience was EVERY member of staff we spoke to, were extremely friendly, understanding, helpful, organised, extremely polite, knowledgeable and keen to please. Whoever does the staff training here, is to be applauded. However, not one member of staff we spoke to, and there were 7 in total, made us feel they were giving us 'automated or rehearsed ' answers. "I stayed here for 4 nights and during the 2nd night there was an issue with the room, and I wanted to change rooms, Millie on reception was very understanding and helpful and sorted me another room out immediately in the lodge for the rest of my stay, I can’t praise her enough for this The food was good and the other staff were friendly and polite "
