"I've stayed here several times previously, so the room was good value as usual. This is a Marston's (brewery) pub/lodge, so I was surprised and disappointed there was no draught ale in the bar. I had a pizza, which was edible but definitely required at least twice as much topping on the base - very miserly portion control! NB: all the staff on duty were absolutely fine: I'm sure these are senior management policy issues."

"We stayed here for 2 nights mid-week. The property was easy to find. There is plenty of free on-site parking. The staff were friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. Check in was a quick process (checked in online the night before). Easy to locate our room. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom could do with more of a deep clean as there was some mould from the shower. We didn't have breakfast there as the timings and cost didn't appeal to us but we did eat in the restaurant one...
