"Hotel is in a very good location. An old manor house. The inside of the premises looked like it was refurbished but the outside is in need of TLC & a very good clean. The grounds are lovely. Our bedroom was good apart from tea cups that were not washed. Over all a very nice stay. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Dinner was good too. Excellent staff with very good customer service. We will visit again if in the area. "

"I can thoroughly recommend this beautiful historic hotel! It has been refurbished whilst keeping all these amazing features! The service is superb. The bedrooms are well equipped - little things like fresh milk in the mini fridge rather than capsules! It has a good sized car park. The breakfast Is delicious. Can’t praise it enough!"

"The swimming area was very good, clean and staff approachable. The evening meal was another matter. I am diagnosed coeliac and when l told them one waitress thought gluten free and coeliac were two different intolerances. When the manager was told , he bought me pages and pages of listings for me to check whether what l was ordering was g/f. Not very helpful! However breakfast was more understanding, knowledgeable and helpful. One person in every 100 according to the BBC this very morning are...

"A great base for a weekend stay in Cirencester. The hotel is in the middle of town so a great location to explore the town & surrounding areas. The hotel is lovely & rooms well equipped & very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, a great selection of options on offer, everything was delicious. Would stay again if visiting this area. "

"Liked the easy booking in, cookies were a lovely surprise and delicious. Loads of parking. Had a sofa bed and the bars were in my back and hips. Because I was on my own I was able to place sofa cushions on top of the mattress and was comfortable enough. "
