"The Rusutsu Resort Hotel is a well-oiled machine - all the staff are polite, helpful and they are used to moving lots of people at once. Rooms are clean and reasonably large for Japan. The rooms and facilities are dated; it feels very 90s. Main areas could use a refresh, especially the carpeting in the hallways. Expect to have to walk a lot to get anywhere: to your room, to the ski locker, to restaurants, to the ski hill. Could be really noisy depending on your room’s proximity to the elevators...

"The apartment was in great condition and extremely comfortable for a family of 4. Smaller touches and attention to details could have been better - there was no wardrobe space nor drawers in the bedrooms. Also take note it’s a all-in-one washer dryer, not separate units."
