"My wife and I decided to stay at Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo after seeing so many positive recommendations on social media, and we were excited to try it out. The atmosphere is really nice, and it’s super close to the ocean, which makes for some beautiful views. The location is great and the hotel itself has a nice vibe. However, there were a couple of downsides. First, they only offer valet parking, which wasn’t super convenient for us. I’m not exactly looking for valet service, especially when...

"Wonderful host, beautiful accommodations, all the amenities you would need in a gorgeous rainforest setting."

"The property was as advertised, beautiful decor and many amenities plus awesome balconies to sit and watch the sunset. Only issue was the hallway to the unit which had a musty smell but using the service elevator was a way around the smell even though the service elevator had very dirty carpet."

"Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. The central location on the island allows for east access to everywhere. We will definitely be talking about/recommending the volcano mist cottage to others. "
