"We went in the bar for pre dinner drinks and tried to pay on the room and were informed this is not possible which was a shame and not usual for this type of hotel. Time for dinner was prebooked and we arrived and we’re shown to our table. Food was lovely but whole meal was spoilt at the end when my husband ordered a liquer coffee. "Very friendly staff on arrival and in all interactions. Public spaces looked nice. Room was clean and simple. Only gripe was the need to de-timescale the taps and shower head. The bathroom was spacious and modern and the stuttering and erratic spray caused by limescale blockages was out of place and could’ve made for a much more pleasant experience. Overall was good value for a single room, was visiting my daughter at uni and would happily stay there again when doing so. "

"Not explained that access was via outside balcony door, and with 2 keys only 1 worked on 1 door. Inside, found another locked door, so thought 2nd key was to a central corridor, perhaps? Neither of the 2 keys worked. Again, had not been explained that door was to an adjoining room, no key provided because we had not booked the adjoining room. "My mother and I stayed in one of the twin rooms. We where greeted at reception by Gracie, who was delightful, allowing us to check in earlier than expected. Later on the evening Josseb, was very helpful in explaining and downloading Uber onto my mobile, no task or request was ever to much trouble. The dining, again all the staff are so happy and helpful, my mother was made to feel very comfortable and special. Our twin room was gorgeous, fantastic bed, crisp white linen, a fridge and safe too....
