All the staff very friendly and efficient, had a nice meal there - steak well cooked - and the breakfast was tasty, good quality ingredients and served quickly and with a smile. "It was clean and tidy to expectations for pub accommodation. Large freshly carpeted room. Bathroom recently renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The burgers were as advertised one of the best I've had. The village is delightful."

The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there.
