We stayed here with family and friends; spacious house and garden so did not feel squashed with 8 adults and 6 kids. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good location for visiting local area. Would definitely stay here again.
Bank holiday weekend celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary with our three grown up children, their partners and children. The house was perfect, with most families able to have a self contained area for their family. The kitchen area was well equipped and all 15 of us could sit at the table together. Lots of parking and lovely countryside surrounding the house.
Superb, spacious property and ideal for a family break
Lucy the owner was fantastic all the way through the booking, pre-arrival and post-arrival processes. The property is so unique and absolutely huge, so easily accommodated our family of 13 people. It is a working farm and you live next to cows and tractors, but it all adds to the rural experience and one we'd definitely all recommend
We went to the property for a reunion of university friends, 6 adults, 7 kids. Great roomy house, plenty of stuff to do around and about. Kids loved the cows & pigs!
The property I think had been vacant for some time before we arrived. It was very clean but there were a lot of flies but that has to be expected on a farm. We soon sorted it and there was no bother from then on. The hosts were so helpful with anything we needed.
Marked the accuracy of the listing down due to the hot tub. We booked it thinking that was included. Would have preferred for it not to have been mentioned.
Had a wonderful long weekend with 2 families to celebrate a birthday. The house is perfect for a large group. Many hours sat round the large outside table and the kitchen table - eating and playing games. The rooms were all clean, beds comfy, and 4 bathrooms was really appreciated by a large group! Lucy was very helpful, great communication and in touch to check all was OK. Really felt welcome and relaxed. Very much recommend this farmhouse for large groups.
The
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moorhall Farm, it had everything you could possibly need for a wonderful time away. Lucy was extremely helpful and checked in on us in the middle of our stay to make sure everything was okay. We all believed the overall cleanliness and attention to detail could have been better, but other than that our stay was lovely!
Really enjoyed our stay here - 16 of us plus dog, spread over three generations - and would certainly return. The house was cozy (loved the wood burner in the lounge) and clean. The age of the property gave it some real charm. We didn’t really use the outside space, but did enjoy a couple of muddy walks in the surrounding area.
We were a family group of thirteen and there was plenty of room and never felt crowded. The only issue that we found was that the outside space was not particularly toddler friendly.
Ideal location for a relaxing family get together, loads of space, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Nicely part of a working farm with cows and pigs. Lots of opportunities for walking (inc dogs) from the farm. Curch, pub, National Trust property all easywalk.
From start to finish everything was perfect. Arrival/departure and comms with host were easy and flexible, house itself was spotless, large but cosy at same time and lovely and warm. Lovely little pub with open fires within walking distance and a Caribbean meal from the hosts was the icing on the cake. Thanks for having us - a wonderful memorable weekend!
Beautiful farm house. Locations was perfect size was perfect.
We had a fab weekend 13 ov us for a friend's 40th Birthday.
So relaxed and chilled and the kids loved the animals.
Lucy was very accommodating as wanted to get in alittle earlier than check in.
We will deffently be back.
We had a wonderful long weekend at the house, with 11 adults (3 family generations), 3 children (from 6 months to 13 years) and 2 dogs. A really well equipped kitchen and big dining table made for enjoyable meal times, and the pool table was great for entertainment. WiFi is a bit slow, but that wasn't a problem for us. We had some nice walks and enjoyed a rare weekend together.
What a lovely characterful old property. We all loved having our own staircases to the bedrooms, but one big open area for the lounge/ kitchen was perfect for socialising.
Some nice walks in the area, and the hot tub we hired was an added bonus.
Our only complaint was we were only there for a weekend so didn’t get much chance to explore the nearby area very much.
Lucy was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.
This was a great property for a family get together. Plenty of room options and large open living spaces. The kitchen was a good size to fit all the adults and toddlers. The cows were interesting for the children, and the pool table a great success with the adults. Plenty of interesting places nearby - National Trust properties and gardens as well as towns like Ledbury, Ludlow etc. All round, a very good option for a large family get together.
We are a group of of four families with children ranging from 1 to 8 years of age, and we had a lovely stay at Moorhall Farm. It was very well catered for with lots of games and DVDs for both the children and adults. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Lucy our host was very approachable and great with communication. The cows were an added bonus for the kids too!
Thank you Lucy!
The house was perfect for my 30th birthday with everything that we needed for a long weekend in the countryside.
The bedrooms were a great size and the beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and there was plenty of room for us all.
The location was amazing, garden was great and we hired a hot tub for the weekend.
Communication with Lucy was really easy and always very welcoming.
Would definitely recommend for a large group gathering as the house had everything we needed and more!
Lucy & Stephen were very helpful and accommodating, we were able to book in earlier than expected and had extra time to leave on the last day also. The farmhouse is very large and yet very cosy and warm. It is ideal for a large number of people ( we were 10 adults and 1 toddler) and the downstairs open plan arrangement meant that we could be doing different activities but still be aware of each other. Would definitely recommend.
