"Delightful few days away, beautiful hotel with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, a wide range of choices. Great location to go out on walks and find nearby pubs. Only downside is there’s nothing to say the spa isn’t included in the price, and the spa doesn’t have a swimming pool. Otherwise it’s very nice! "

"Good location. Stairwell to rooms had loose handrail but everything else was good. Good entertainment in room. Available food was fine but got brioche bun when ordered a bap. "

"This is a good place for a short stay. Clean and quiet. Close to city of Bath and Cotswold area. Breakfast was good. There is enough parking around the hotel. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the pub/restaurant on site. The breakfast area is separate from the pub area, which we thought was a nice touch. Room was a good size (it was the Stratton Suite). Water was great pressure in the shower. Just one small thing. The door at the top of the stairs needs some WD40!"

"Really enjoyed the stay. Fantastic old building nice comfortable and clean rooms, good food and friendly service. Nice to have a a local folk group playing in the Dovers bar when we were there!"

"Hotel and our room were clean albeit a bit tired and could do with a bit of TLC. We have a dog and this hotel is very dog friendly, ate an excellent meal in the bar in the evening and a nice breakfast in the dining room. Staff were excellent throughout, only downfall was the road up to the car park through an archway and then a very bendy narrow road upwards and the car park itself which could be challenging for some. "
