"We went to see Peter Kay at the AO arena. We were on vacation from Canada visiting family so this hotel was close to the train station so ideal for our train and the arena itself. Breakfast is included and was very good. Staff kept on top of clearing tables and replenishing hot food. Shower was one of the best I have had in a hotel in England so far. Definitely be back if we visit Manchester again. "

"If you are going to the First Direct Arena, it is really handy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself is budget, but you know that going in. Had hot water, shower gel/soap. Comfy bed. It's just a very small room, but as I only used it to sleep after a gig, it's just what you need. The street food stall outside was not so nice, would avoid that next time. "

"Lovely building especially when lit up at dusk. Dining room and bar excellent Food good quality excellent Sunday roast. Garden area at front of hotel is well kept with lovely flowers and pots. Beer garden and picnic tables at the rear is a good addition. There were one or two issues in the room itself - just needs upgraded especially the bathroom."

"We had a good deal at this hotel, one night stay with breakfast for 2 people was £80. The hotel itself was modern and very clean, the room was comfortable with a decent size bathroom and big shower for a hotel. Breakfast was good too. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a few things that let it down though, firstly they charged me £20 to park there for the night!! Very cheeky, so really it was £100 for the night and I might have got a better deal. The toilet dripped constantly which...
