"This was my second time staying at Hotel Santa Ana, while waiting for my departure flight to Canada out of the Guanacaste airport, the next morning. There’s not 1 negative thing I can say about this place. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and everything is in good working order. The wall mounted TV is definitely a nice touch. I feel safe here. There is a lot of secure parking available, if you have a vehicle. It’s only a 6 minute drive to the airport. I love their available shuttle service to the airport for $12, it’s very convenient. There is several places to eat I found all within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel, as well as a convenience store (Sun Market Convenience store) that is a 10 minute walk away. I like the affordability. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I will definitely be back! 🙂"

"Beautiful property- stayed 3 nights at a dome tent with my 7 year old- it was very modern and well equipped. Staff are great and we enjoyed the zip lining and horseback rides while at the ranch. All were extremely convenient to book during our stay- available on an hours notice. Food was excellent and traditional and the ladies in the kitchen working at the ranch were amazing. If you are looking to do a horse back ride and zip line in Costa Rica I would highly recommend staying night or so and doing the activities while enjoying the property. It’s a better day than booking a tour from the coast if you have a car IMO, simply because you have more time to enjoy nature and generally more private zip lining and horseback riding so you could accomplish more. Our stay was mid March 2025. Activity prices were reasonable as was the stay. "
