"Once inside hotel all was good. Outside on arrival there was a person relieving himself in the alley to the left of the hotel. The doors did not open I entered after someone else left and there was no one on reception - did not have to wait long though"

"We stayed 2 nights at the Bull Inn as a base for our visit to the nearby area. We slept there and had breakfast but no other meals (we arrived late one evening, were out all day until late the next day and left after breakfast the following day. Service throughout was friendly and polite; the room (one of several in an annex in the garden) was clean, fresh and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. "It's a 470 year old inn; so the floors are a bit wonky and there is no lift but the bedroom is otherwise good 3 star standard and the staff are courteous and helpful, the restaurant serves good Englsh cuisine at reasonable prices and the bar atmosphere is that of a village pub. and it couldn't be closer to the centre of town"
