It would be helpful to have towel rails in bathroom and some coat hooks also. A small wasbasin in separate toilet would be good. Some instructions regarding the heating system would help.

Paid for parking than got fined, parking was a nightmare spaces you had to climb out the window to get out, the fine added insult to what was a joke. otherwise ok bar closed early.

The hotel is OK, it's owned by a cost cutting company. It has no character, it's purely functional. It is clean, the people working there are doing their best. The breakfast offering is appalling, just the cheapest, nastiest food substitutes, scrambled egg out of a pre-made bag and cheap nasty bread.

Two night dreadful stay.
I stayed at this for two nights here in Ipswich. The place was refurbished to the current style. There are some disappointments unfortunately. I was first disappointed by the logistics parking vehicles. I paid for parking using "Pay by Phone". However, it was found out during check-in, I get discounts. What a wasting money! While the room was refurbished and well air conditioned, the soundproof and the loud door banging by other people threw me off quite a lot during my stay. I had to put the headphone all the time. The sofa in the room was useless. The sofa seemed detachable and not in the wall fully. If it detaches, it could easily go into an injury. Breakfast - I have no comment for this was. I was not satisfied with the food quality. I was also not satisfied by the quality of the service. The plates were really hot(!) and witnessed guests including myself had to use the paper napkins to hold the plate. Why not putting the plates on the side once its warm enough? While the place is in Ipswich, the professionalism was not there. For example, I tried to sort out the parking in the morning of the second day, I waited for ten minutes in the reception, but no body was there. It is important that somebody needs to be at the reception desk should the guests need help all the time. So based on my comments, there are some improvements needed.

Nice and central for ipswich, but not right in the centre about a 5 minute walk from the town centre, the waterfront, and the station . The staff were lovely. The gym was small, but clean and more than enough for a weekend stay. Would definitely use again.
