The hotel is right by the harbour with a pretty view. The street in front is one way and not a thoroughfare, so was quiet. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the centre of town, and there are many pubs and restaurants close by. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

The Salthouse Harbour Hotel is great
It was about our 5th or 6th stay at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel - we love it , excellent quality, fantastic views of the Ipswich Marina. Staff are helpful and friendly.
