"Had a wonderful long weekend (3 night) stay here. It's a short, easy walk from the main tourist strip so simple to get around Florence by foot. It's also easy to get to from the airport with tram and bus to just a few blocks away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room (single room) was spacious with comfortable bed, good shower and all you need for a short break. "We highly recommend this hotel. It is close to just about everything. More importantly, this hotel makes you feel at home! The breakfast is wonderful.The evening social sets them above the rest..The wine,beer, water and small snacks pulled guests together to mingle..We met some wonderful people and exchanged info on places and tips for sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay and have been telling everyone about what a wonderful stay."

"I reserved the single economy room. I was traveling alone so wasn’t concerned with “stairway only” access, nor the bed that is smaller than a standard twin. It’s an old building but everything works and is super convenient for walking to all the city center sites with Duomo only a few steps away. The staff are all very helpful in every way. "This is outside of where we normally stay (near SMN) but it was excellent. Great staff, you can buy food in the lobby & micro in the main room. We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno. "Hotel Ferrucci saved us. We had made the mistake of booking our other hotel for one less day than we needed and had to last minute scramble. Ferrucci was literally the only hotel with vacancy in the city and we snagged the last room. For that, I will be forever grateful.
