"Very convenient location, but parking can be tricky- especially at peak times. Big plus- dog friendly The hotel is quite dated inside. We did not eat there, we ate out. A great base if you like being out and about. Our room was close to the lift so early morning and late in the evening, we could hear the comings and goings. "We have stayed at The Falmouth a number of times over the past 20 years, through a least 3 different management regimes, overall this was the best yet. Service was good, staff very efficient, parking OK. However a couple of things let it down, the bedroom is secondary glazed, one complete pane of glass was completely missing from an outer window, no explanation given and if not repaired it could have been boarded over. The bathroom had no blind just a flimsy net curtain that did not even cover...

"Last minute change of plans meant i needed something simple for one night and this place did more than that. Very accomodating, well priced, recently refurbished by looks of it. "My stay was EXCELLENT. All the staff were very attentive, polite and very efficient. Their mannerisms really excelled. The food was fresh, hot and very well cooked and presented. I was even fortunate enough to witness Father Christmas Coming in the dining area with his sack of presents accompanied by his elf where he gave each and every guest a gift and we had a little sing along. Such a lovely experience and it really made my day. Now I am no spring chicken - let’s say majority of the guests...
