"The room & bathroom was very dated and somewhat tired but very clean. The TV was tiny for the size of the room and the radiator a bit small. The staff were generally very helpful and the food in the restaurant very good, apart from the breakfast which was poor in quality."

A great base if you like being out and about. Our room was close to the lift so early morning and late in the evening, we could hear the comings and goings. "We loved our stay at Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa. Loved being able to use the spa facilities and the room was modern and cosy with a selection of teas, coffees and shortbread. The hotel is good walking distance into Newquay town and the route via the golf course is lovely. The restaurant offers great views of Fistral Beach. They have a cute photo booth just by the elevator which was a nice touch. Only thing I would say is the heating was whacked up for winter so the room was boiling but luckily...

"We had a one night stay at the Harbour Hotel (St Ives) as a couple in a sea view room. We had a nice stay on the whole. The Spa with swimming pool was a lovely addition that also included a jacuzzi. The settings at the Harbour Hotel was lovely inside and very clean as was the rooms. Reception and the Spa staff approachable if you needed anything at all.
