Grounds were very nice to walk through. Pathway to walk into town was very convenient. Facilities at the hotel were good. Only disappointment was the swimming pool/leisure areas. Looked old/tired. Maybe there was a spa there before and area hasn’t been remodelled. As the building is older the creaking of floorboards above our room was quite loud.

It was near the beach and accessible. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The rooms were spacious however we could hear all the noise from the neighbours as well as from above. The hot water from the shower took a very long time and there was no phone inside the room to call. I am aware that we live in the UK so it was okay but if you are a foreigner having to use your own phone may be a challenge and as it was raining- going to the reception across the courtyard is an inconvenience. We didn’t need to but just a very small comment. We were not able to use most of the facilities but would highly recommend and would not think twice to book again and enjoy the facilities. The staff were super friendly and helpful and always with a smile.

Swimming pool was closed for maintenance - fair enough, but no apology from staff, or even mention of it being closed on arrival, just a notice on the reception desk. It was a room for the night, and we were underwhelmed.

One night in St Ives

Lovely setting in nice hotel, with commanding views. Hotel a little tired, in my own opinion, room was like a sauna, thankfully we had a fan,to cool down room. In all though, a very enjoyable stay.
