"Liked the decor of the bar and restaurant although the menu and drinks list are limited The hot tub wasn't hot but the sauna was too hot "

"Had a lovely day out at the nearby zoo and this hotel was very convenient to be able to stay close by and enjoy a mini break. The staff and service was brilliant and really friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Disappointed that the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it didn't affect our overall experience. Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was also really good with lots to choose from. Would recommend "

"Lovely hotel and would stay again. Areas are a little dated and with simple, cheap changes like new shower mats in the bath would make the rooms so much better (these look mouldy underneath)"

"Overall a good stay - The night porter( manager) was excellent. Comfy bed.. Dissapointed by the breakfast - Cold plates! Hot food not that hot and scrambled eggs had gone green as left for too long. Coffee on side not individual pots, cold even when new lot made and cups too small, so kept having to get up for refill."

"Nice clean, comfortable room. The sound of doors being opened/closed outside in the corridor seems extra loud for some reason. Maybe it’s just where my room was situated but yeah. Found it hard to sleep with all the clicking and closing of doors."
