"We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the newly revamped Dawn Ranch. Went for a couples weekend and did the cottage, spa, dinner. Cozy fun vibes. Reduced stars for cottage being a little cold/drafty (that’s me), spa being a little intense about the rules, and restaurant as well. They had to turn away sooooo many ppl without reservations so def make them for dinner! Free wine tasting and excellent masseuse a plus. "

"Right in downtown Calistoga. Street parking available. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Offer of continental breakfast delivered to the room daily. Pool and lounging area in the back is beautiful. Calistoga is not a very lively community but is a peaceful holiday. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There is a bus that you can ride to Napa and to St Helena for only $2/person. The concierge told us that they will have bikes available next year (2025)....

"Our stay at the Courtyard was nice. We were on the 2nd floor at the front of the building so a but of noise in the evening. The breakfast and breakfast staff were good. I might suggest adding pancakes and a side of toast to menu. The evening menu was ok. Need some revamping of the dining area. The yellow sling back chairs were hard to move on carpet and some of the banquets were at an odd angle to the table. Overall, the lobby and dining area need warming up- try rail related decor or peanuts...

"The hotel and staff were amazing. The restaurant was great. We were notified that the rooms didn’t have bathrooms before we arrived, but when rating the hotel I have to deduct for that reason. It wasn’t too bad for us because we stayed during the week during a slow season, but if it was full the bathroom situation could be very difficult. Other than that the hotel and Restaurant was great. "

"My only complaint was the phone lines were down the day I arrived so I couldn’t reach them for the shuttle from the airport. "
