"This is a beautiful property that is worth getting the upgrade for better food options and swim up bar. English was understood but directions are not clear such as a map or dining options. Check out took a long time. Go to the towel check instead of reception. We would definitely come again. "

"Beautiful resort. Wish we had stayed longer. Staff everywhere were extremely friendly. We had a a 2nd floor deluxe room which faced the volcano but was partially obscured by a tree. No big deal. Still an amazing view. Food at the restaurant was very good but there wasn't much Costa Rican variety. Pool and the bar were great. My only issue was that they wouldnt exchange any US currency to Costa Rican. Also keep in mind that this resort is about a 20 minute drive from La Fortuna."

"I loved my stay at La Mansion. Christopher and the rest of the staff was so helpful and genuinely kind. The room was spacious and beautiful. The property and view was gorgeous. Waking up to the lake view and rainforest sounds every morning was heavenly. I didn’t get a chance to hike down to the lake because the rain was in predictable the morning we tried to do that. Breakfast was okay, not too many healthy options. Dinner options were okay. The Cesar salad was amazing! Although it’s a lil drive...
