"Everything was perfect. The only thing I would like to mention is that the receptionist only recommended their transportation when we wanted to head out to town instead of giving us the option between their transportation and Uber. Their transportation fee was $28 plus tax and Uber was $7. Other than that, this is a really great resort. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the views are AMAZING! "We stayed in a junior suite plus with a beautiful view of the volcano. Our patio looked out on a gorgeous manicured garden. Every staff member we met was friendly, kind and helpful. Although there are no cooking facilities, there is a fairly good size fridge which came in handy. We were able to purchase simple lunch ingredients from the Maxi Pali that we took with us on hikes. "Really felt like staying in the rainforest, but with excellent food and service. Villa was very private. Not a wildlife preserve, but we did see monkeys, a mom and baby sloth, birds, and lizards on the expansive property. The geothermal pools and the use of all 3 Nayara restaurants and facilities were major plusses that probably aren't emphasized enough."

"My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights in the family suite and we had an amazing time. We saw the volcano right from our room each morning. The pools were amazing and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food and drink were delicious. Highly recommend for a romantic or family getaway"

"Place was super clean and location was amazing. Short walk to town and to activities. Only issue was that the 2 bedrooms inside plus the bathroom had walls that do not go all the way to the ceiling. So you get privacy but no privacy from noise. Everyone can hear you in the bathroom and the 2 front bedrooms you can hear everything. If anyone gets up early or stays up late, this impacts everyone. I would not stay again due to this unless it was just with 2 people in the back master bedroom."

"The staff were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The rooms were spacious, a/c worked well, every thing about the rooms were fantastic. The pool was small. However the frog tour and bird watching (even if you’re not an enthusiast) is amazing. Lucy was a great tour guide. "

"Sibu Lodge is absolutely beautiful. The grounds and common areas are well-kept, and the room was lovely. There was a small fridge and we received a complimentary half-bottle of wine. We had happy hour drinks and food at the restaurant, and a lovely breakfast was provided. The town was about a 10-minute walk, so accessible, but the return trip to the hotel was very steep. The staff at the hotel set up our reservations for a zip line tour and a coffee farm tour, and we were able to include transportation for both activities. This is a lovely hotel, and I highly recommend it."
