"Came a bit early but could check in early. Room was perfect , and had a sea view.. Breakfast was very good.. Evenings after 22.00 were quiet although dogs nearby started their 'orchestra' every evening around 17.00. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful especially the receptionists. They even arranged a lovely lunch packet as we had a very early flight back. This was a cozy down to earth hotel."

"This is a beautiful little hotel with very kind staff. The breakfast is delicious and varied day to day. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The location is peaceful with lovely views, walking distance to the (must-see) botanical garden, and to a funicular that can take you downtown. But especially given that the funicular is pricey, the downside is having to drive up and down the hill to Funchal. Thus, we loved combining a few days at Babosas with a stay down toward the water. "
