"This building is old and damp in areas. However good value for money and central. My room was beautiful. Windows quite mucky. Reception lady polite and helpful. Continental breakfast disappointing. If your wanting a quiet stay this hotel is located directly in front of a very loud nightclub so take this into consideration on a Friday/ satarday night🙂"

"Fantastic old Rectory in a quiet country area ideal for walks along the nearby canal. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice cooked to order. Staff were helpful and friendly. Decor needs a bit of TLC but it is an old listed building."

"The hotel exceeded our expectations, we didn't expect 4-5 star service from the budget hotel with such low price, and we read through the previous reviews, so we really expected an old traditional place rather than modern network hotels. However it was better than in the reviews. The hosts are very kind and helpful, the breakfasts and dinners were excellent. It's incredible how 1 woman can cook so many delicious meals for guests. The owners are such hardworking people! The room was very clean....

"OMG I am amazed that this place wasn't better frequented when i stayed last night. The rooms are well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The bar area is nicely decorated and the food was delicious, it was curry night yum! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. "Really cosy and gorgeous little cottage! Bedroom was really comfy, ceiling a little low in parts if you’re 6.4’ and above! Breakfast was a nice easy fix. The view was excellent and the shared gardens were peaceful. Lawrence was helpful and welcoming."
