"The property was great value for money. Reasonably priced but with quality rooms and amenities. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Metro public transport was nearby just across the road which was great and very convenient. The surrounding area around the hotel was not so nice. It was surprising to experience a large amount of trash and fly tipping in the area, along with a number of rough sleepers in the area. "Amazing a good and spacious hotel with enough amenities that we need even comb& hair bands were provided . All my childen were happy to stay here although it is far from town but near to kyoto station . Sure will come back "

"Overall this was a very good stay. You take your shoes off upon entering the hotel. You are not allowed to wear your shoes. You get the traditional vibe. The room was clean. The staff were attentive. Our room did not have a bath tub. If you have tattoos you will NOT be able to use the spa/sauna bath. Which I know Japan is notorious for not allowing tattoos. But I was hoping since so many tourists stay there they would be a little lenient. "
