"It snowed about 2ft during our stay. Hotel provided shovels so we could dig our car out. Hotel clears their snow paths pretty quick. My husband is disabled and the ADA room was all accessible for him. He's in a powerchair. Hotel had a ping pong table which my wife & daughter enjoyed."

We fully expected high rates for the convenient location and splurged $2500 for 3 nights over Valentines & Presidents weekend. We wouldnt pay that again unless PlumpJack refreshed its tired rooms. "Overall this is a nice classic A frame at a very reasonable rate for Lake Tahoe. It’s dated, but clean and comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues that we alerted the property manager to when we checked out and hopefully they are addressed. (Non stick pots and pans are old and pealing, upstairs toilet would continuously run if not fiddled with and one of the furnaces seemed to be acting up) "

"This property is historical and quaint, it was where the Olympic athletes stayed for the 1960 Olympics. It was a bit tricky trying to find where the front office was, but we loved the location. The woman at the front desk was great and so helpful. We were so pleased that we had bikes available on site for our use. Walking to the main Ski Area was easy. It is showing some age on the outside, but the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need, including warm robes."
