"Great place to stay! Easy access to different must-go places. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Except for the breakfast buffet which end at 9:30. When it says 9:30, it means that everyone needs to leave at that time. We were obviously not aware of that and kept working on what’s left in our plates when one man seemed like a manager came with a raised voice saying “Out, out!” Guess that’s the culture difference."

"Loved this hotel! Very small and felt like you were out in the country side. The view was unbeatable. Room was very big and spacious, as well as bathroom. Not much around so either come prepared with food to heat up or be prepared to drive a bit to town. All in all one of my favorite places I stayed my whole trip. "

"Stayed for 6 nights and went skiing in Rutsusu daily which was only 35 min away. Excellent location on the lake. Onsen was fabulous at end of ski days with good skin products and massage chair. Half board included and food options though almost same daily had lots of dishes with sashimi the best of qualities. Need to blast heating due to draft through windows but comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"This was a pretty nice ryokan/onsen. Positives: The staff were friendly, and they even had a reserved shuttle bus that will take you from the hotel to New Chitose Airport. The dinner and breakfast buffet was also great because they tried to serve local Sapporo/Hokkaido delicacies. The only thing that need to notice is that the area does not have much public transportation or taxi services, you can ask the front desk to call a taxi for you, but need to prepare additional waiting time."

Room is clean, spacious with plenty of charging plugs in the room. Bed, pillow and duvet is soft and comfortable. We had a wonderful sumptuous Japanese breakfast with mixture of western delights. You do have to walk up a slope to reach the Carpark. If you want an affordable place to stay, here is a good recommendation."

"We stayed at the WE Toya as our home base for a Rusutsu ski trip. It was fabulous. The onsen was so lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. We never ate at the restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast buffet was super. The rooms are very large and the one time the onsen was closed for cleaning, we used the balcony tub and it was delightful. We would definitely stay here again!"
