"Our first child free night away in 5 years to celebrate a 40th birthday. We had stayed in an ibis in Sheffield before and didn’t have many strong feelings about it. It was good as a base, but nothing special. This one in Portsmouth was so lovely. From the fish tank in the lobby, & the very well priced drinks, it was perfect for us. The breakfast was very enjoyable, and the free pastry was such appreciated. We will very much be returning."

"Hotel is tired and needs some attention on paintwork Room was not clean , bits on the carpet , cobwebs , no mattress cover just 1 sheet over bare mattress Had run out of vinegar at meal time Mainly all staff were friendly and very good with my disabled daughter "

"We stayed 2 nights over the New Year. It is very near my family so very convenient. We had our dog with us and were given an amazing room on the ground floor with a door to the garden. Very convenient. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I won't stay anywhere else now when I visit the family.
