"Call me old school but I prefer to be greeted by a receptionist when I check in. Still, our room was quiet and roomy and the reception on call were quick to assist us. When the breakfast room remodel is done that should be nice, too. Our breakfast at the hotel de Paix was a little sub par but free. The hallways had the same cluster of leaves on the floor for the 3 days we were there. The price was affordable for expensive Switzerland."

Pretty average breakfast options. Triple room was spacious and clean. Bus stop 'bruggligasse' very close by for bus line 9 that travels to the train station. Would recommend a stay here while in Lucerne. "

"I booked a standard room, the one we got for first 2 nights were not good because it was behind the elevator, then I told the front desk, they changed for us much better room without charge extra, they try to accommodate and make us happy, very nice staffs. Thank you "
