The hotel was a disappointment. We couldn’t stay for anymore than 1 night. We had paid for 3 nights, and when I asked if they would waive the fee for the remaining 2 night, we were told NO. Despite this, we left the hotel.
The room sizes are extremely small, so much so you can’t open your suitcase fully. The walls are paper and can hear the people in the room next door talking and those on the floors above walking, jumping etc.
The bed linen was clean, however the pillows were dusty as was the floor. The soles of white hotel slippers (not supplied) went black after about 5 minutes. The bathroom towels were thin, coarse and small. There were no amenities other than soap and toilet tissue. I would recommend you stay at the Monopol if you are after a central hotel with large rooms and great service.
