"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."

"The estate is very pretty and has lovely grounds to walk around. The accommodation is lovely. There are a couple of places for food available. The only downside to our stay was that it was Burns night and it was a very limited menu,given only 3 options. Ideally when booking in we could have been advised. The food was very nice but due to the options I personally did struggle. "

"We booked this last minute for a bargain price. Overall our stay was excellent for what we paid. We had a lovely welcome, our room, if a little date, was clean and tidy. The beds extremely comfortable. The swimming pool was a welcome bonus and was very warm! Our 4 course evening meal was excellent value and we slept well. We opted for breakfast at 8:30 and this was where the only issue occurred. We was shown to our table at 8:35 but then wasn't attended to, or had our order taken until 9:15....

"We wanted a nice relaxing and chilled weekend. The hotel, room except for the shower and hairdryer, food and the staff were awesome. However we couldn’t use the pool as it was freezing cold. The pool was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. "
