The location was good although not right by all the attractions we were within a 15 min walk to the more touristy areas. The only two downsides to this hotel for us were they never swept our room or put coffee pods in there so I had to go downstairs and get more. Also there are really no amenities such as hot tub, pool, free breakfast. Parking onsite is very expensive but there is a city...

"Good place to stay. Staff and concierge were awesome. Walking distance from the river walk. Parking at the hotel is $45 per day. Good to leave the car parked and walk. "

"I loved the historic aspect of this hotel. Oldest in Savannah - all refurbished and beautifully appointed. Very nice happy hour with free wine and music, trivia, history lecture etc. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were on the small side but not too small. Great location - 10 min. walk to River Street and other tourist spots."

"Very nice Courtyard by Marriott. The location is right on the edge of the historic district. Everything is walkable. Great fitness center with a Peloton bike. My only complaint is that there was no serve yourself coffee in the lobby or bistro. You had to wait in line and the line was long. A tall coffee was 6.50, grande 7.50 and Venti 8.50. It was Starbucks but still…they need another coffee option for those who just want to grab and go. "

"This is a very lovely hotel! Old, but well kept and I loved the charm of the old building. There are two parking garages very nearby which makes parking easy if you don’t want to use valet. It’s very central and it was so easy to walk to everything we wanted to do/see in Savannah. Our room was clean and nice. Because of the location (and I’m sure most hotels in this area have the same issue) it can be noisy from traffic and construction around the area. This would not stop me from staying here...

"My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. The hotel was the nicest we've ever stayed in and was very clean. The staff was very friendly, however, did not try to help me schedule flowers or make our stay more special when I asked. We loved the valet. The guys were incredibly kind and helped us unload and took our luggage to our room. It was easy to request our car. The breakfast was fantastic and exceeded our expectations.
