"Excellent location within walking distance of Nishiki market and other areas. Room was spacious, we could have both our suitcases open and still have space. Bed was firm, pillows were ok. Bathroom is standard small size but functional. Onsen - is more of a hot tub rather than a normal onsen so is more chlorinated and it bubbles. Hotel doesn’t offer luggage transfer service, and the nearby 7/11 wasn’t able to help so we had to take our luggage to one that was around a 10-15 min walk away. "

"Very nice boutique hotel close to subway station. Staff was super friendly. Modern room furnishing with comfortable bed and washroom layout. Complimentary 24/7 coffee and breads and pastries was a nice perk. Highly recommend."

"Hotel is in a lively shopping street with easy access to the metro and the fantastic Gion area with its lovely old town shops, and eateries. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. It might benefit from additional laundry facilities as it has 2 machines which we found to be almost constantly in use, but minor issue. The Onsen was marvellous and the room couldn’t be faulted. A great stay."
