"The hotel was nice, and in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful too. My only criticism was the noise in and around the hotel from other guests which did affect my sleep somewhat as the building has quite low sound proofing between rooms due to the building. If you are a light sleeper, this is something to consider, otherwise a great hotel and location."

"We had a wonderful stay at this small, beautiful ryokan. They are in a quiet neighborhood next to a school so it was fun to see the kids on the playground when we came back in the afternoon. The ryokan is clean and very well maintained with a large cypress bathtub and a calming library with books, a go board, couches and even a small secluded area with a couch and sitting chair. The food was amazing. We had the steak dinner set and you can add extra steak for a small fee although, as it turns...
