"Location is not bad, conveniently located across from the metro and right next door to a grocery store. The rooms are small but to be expected from European city hotel although i did not expect it to be as small as it was being further out from the center. The shower gives no privacy so unless you are alone or extremely comfortable with your travel partner it maybe awkward or may have to step out. "Visiting Madrid, and staying at Macarena must be together. Great place, conveniently located in Gran Vía, close to all touristic attractions, and very safe. Fantastic breakfast until noontime, and the reception desk and all staff are going the extra mile, always with a smile. Highly highly recommended"

"This is a really nice building very good location for walking or accessing the different things Madrid has to offer and the hotel room are really nice and spacious for Europe standards."

"All the staff were very nice, we stayed two nights. It was nice of the hotel allowing us storing our bags for free the morning we checked out, and we were able to pick up our bags quickly to catch a train. Thank you! we will stay this hotel again if we come back to visit Madrid someday."

"Rooms are very very small. Poorly designed. The toilet was right in front of the sink so you had to stand on the side of the sink. Why? No toom to open 2 suitcases let alone one. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices. Right across the street from the train station. "
