"The property was clean. The self check in process was smooth, using a code instead of a keycard was very convenient. The underground parking was a great feature, especially since we had a rental car. The breakfast offered a good variety and was delicious. The room was small and the temperature control was an issue. The bathroom was clean. The room was very limited, a bed, side table and hangers for our coats. Overall the property was a good place if you are just looking to sleep. The options...

"The exterior of the property is a bit run down, but the inside was fine. Since we did late check-in, our rooms pincode was left on a card on the door frame as were other rooms', so anyone inside could just note the access codes and access these rooms. Kinda scary. Second time staying, would stay again. "

"A unique hotel with bedrooms and outdoor hot tub facing north so you can watch the northern lights from the hotel. At the edge of town with resteraunt and bedroom view over river and smoking hills from the local hot springs. The breakfast was amazing and staff helpful. We dined in the resteraunt a few times during our stay. The food is amazing but a little pricey. Much like all icelandic resteraunts. Some beautiful walks around the area. Would definately stay here again. "

There is a good work out room and great living room to hang out in with snacks and drinks. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices to pick from….five stars!! And it is also close to the Blue Lagoon."
