"Lovely hotel. Close to harrogate centre. Lovely bar area, recently refurbished . The new Amber restaurant was amazing. Rooms a bit dated and tatty. Have not been decorated in years ( I stayed here in 2018 and still the same decor. Bed comfy and big rooms. "

I understand that the integrity of the building needs to be maintained but there was a massive crack in the upper pane of the window in the bedroom and a gap between the sashes that let in blasts of cold air. "Excellent hotel, first visit and will definitely be back. Clean, spacious room. Shower was fab, hand soap, shower gel etc in bathroom smells amazing. Room had 4 usb ports and plenty of sockets. Bed was a bit creaky but also very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful and very clean. Staff very friendly everywhere in the hotel and very helpful. "

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable.
