"Friendly hotel with excellent food! Was there for business so shame i didn't get chance to enjoy the area more"

"Absolutely loved our trip for valentines weekend, the place was lovely and staff super helpful and friendly. Room was clean, our only gripe that while the bed was comfy, the base of the bed had seen better days and was incredibly squeaky with the slightest movement. Not good for a valentines getaway, but rheres always got to be something. Informed the staff and they said they'd ask the cleaner to check it out. I would highly recommend Lamb and Flag for a stay, and at the time of this review....

"We had a lovely one night stay at the Kings Head. As we travelled down we unfortunately had a very late check in but the team were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome on arrival. It’s in a great location for exploring and the cooked breakfast was delicious. "

"Horrendous, most things broken or not working Why can't I post pictures of this? I need a full or partial refund, shower wasn't working, dirty,broken tiles paint and dirt on the bathroom door,paperthin walls which resulted in listening to our 'neighbours ' nocturnal activities, arguing, slamming doors "

"The room was surprisingly large and clean. It was a bank holiday so the pub was extremely busy and very loud. Once the pub closes it was quiet"

"Arrived early, the lady on reception was able to get me checked in though. Room is ok. Shower is a bit weak and the mattress is uncomfortable. "

"My partner and myself had a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly , polite and professional , with nothing being too much trouble. The venue itself is on a hill with lovely view of the surrounding fields. It has a olde worlde feel with beautiful oak beams as part of its pub features and brass adornments on the wall. The bedrooms are clean and inviting with full tea and coffee making facilities , TV and shower and we had a good night's sleep waking up refreshed in the morning. . We partook...

"Highly recommend Beaconsview B&B! Jen made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. It was my partner’s birthday and Jen left a note and a gift for him - it was really kind. Absolutely stunning views and the breakfast was wonderful. Parking was a brilliant bonus. The room was gorgeous - beautifully decorated throughout, spotless, the bath and shower were fab, and the bed was huge and really comfortable. Would definitely stay again."
