"It said to have been a 16th century inn, but its facilities are considerably well updated. Our room including its bathroom are on par with, or perhaps exceed, current standards. Its restaurant and bar are great. Also, its location is convenient for traveling to/from Stonehenge and Salisbury. The place is highly recommendable."

"Lovely grounds there was a wedding reception when I was there whent on a bit late so keep me awake but it was ok apart from that"

"The hotel is a bit tired. The reception had no one there for quite a while. I had to wait to get served. No teabags in room. The hotel could use some decoration. Having a proper coffee machine at breakfast and allowing to make your own toast would help. "

"Great location. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel has a very relaxed feel with a cosy lounge area to kick back with a wine or coffee. Great staff, friendly and helpful. The pool and the gym are great extras. The rooms do not have AC, but we had a room fan which helped. My only criticism would be there was nowhere to put our clothes, as no chest of drawers, only a small wardrobe. "

"Stay was lovely, however there was a school prom one night followed by a wedding the next. Although it was lovely to see the promers arriving, it was directly outside our ground floor room which meant having to close curtains early to avoid being on show. Wedding also meant we couldn’t use the restaurant and limited parking, again, not a huge problem, would have just been nice to know about these events before our stay. Overall lovely stay and great staff. Thank you. "

"Great value for money and access to Bradford on Avon. The restaurant seems to be pricey and the options did not appease us. Our room was small but comfortable, the bathroom was clean, but the little top window was broken and the flush did not work properly, the shower can be improved too. For the price we paid it was definitely worth it. "

"Good location and overall staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is freshly cooked for each guest however it finished at 9am weekdays which was for us a bit early. We had an executive room booked for 2 nights and on arrival after 7pm we had no hot water in the bathroom, which after a long journey was disappointing to say the least. Reception staff had to reset boiler (apparently known problem) and we waited almost 2 hours to get hot water and the water pressure from the taps was poor as...

"Service was very good, and all staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable but I was a little cold in the night, as I like to have the window…which was a French window open a small amount. I had asked for a quiet room and this was at the back of the building, so as quiet as it could be. On a negative the towels which were clean all smelt of chips…..maybe the linen store is near the cooking? For my needs this was a convenient place to stay.
