It had everything we could have possibly required, from the bathroom to a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a washing machine and line if required for longer stays. The whole place was very comfortable and in a very beautiful and convenient location with places such as Castle Combe, Bath and Longleat not far away if you wish to go out for the day. "Cottage just georgous, lovely and quiet. We had a good rest whilst enjoying the local sites of Wells and Frome. We enjoyed a meal at the Oakhill pub at the end of the road, a very good recommendation. Beds were compfy, shower good, everything you need kitchen wise, garden great for our small dogs. The fire was great and we were kept very warm. For us, the sofa was the only downside. Ultimately we loved our stay ❤️"

"The house was in a great location for badminton. It had everything we needed. The house is just a bit tired, the cushions outside were mouldy, the shower had wood missing etc.."

"I wish we could have stayed longer! This house is all you need or want. Yes, it's of course narrow and tiny and just as the one bathroom like any older house, but it is so perfectly renovated and set up - it's a dream! The extra suite over the shed is awesome and very comfy. The walk into town is just 10min and my mum struggled a bit with the uphill on the way back, but it was a great distance that everyone in the party could just do their own thing at their own time. Everything was perfect. "

It is fun and relaxing to explore the grounds, smell the flowers, and watch the many forms of wildlife around the area. You can sit on a bench and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. The cottage is extremely clean and well organized. The layout and design of the cottage makes it a perfect retreat. The bed is very comfortable as well. Pigsty cottage is a wonderful escape.
