"Good hotel with excellent restaurant for lunch and evening meal however breakfast was continental only. Pastries and croissants were not fresh and on the hard side on both mornings. A coffee machine would be a welcome addition rather than instant sachets. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Good telly signal. Good Wi-Fi. Fridge. Windows did not close properly so you could hear the weir but that did not bother us at all. Great views out of windows. This hotel is not for guests with mobility...

"Fantastic weekend stay at the Clifton Hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I stayed in room 50 and it was the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in. Very convenient for exploring Clifton and the surrounding areas. "

The Washington is my favourite to stay in — always low noise, always friendly staff, always comfy and clean beds. The building is a little worn down, inside and out, but if you’re looking for a consistently good, lower cost hotel to stay for a few days, this is the place."

"i really liked all the snacks IHAD a very early flight out of Bristol like 6.a.mboarding time if i had not had the snacks i would have been starving PKLUS they checked me i nearly WITHOUT an early arrival time i just lucked out ..very close walking distance to al l shops and groceries if catching a flight i recommend..plus UBERwas reasonalbefrom there to airport..kids at the desk rarely leave town, research all your options yourself!"

"The hotel was lovely and of a good standard for what we paid and situated in the perfect location. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a quiet rear room, which was quite small. However, it was sufficient for two nights stay. It offered some nice touches, such as cocktail glasses and a good selection of condements. "Spend a long journey here and really impressed. Wonderful team with brilliant manager!! Female friendly and pet friendly! The majority of their staff are warm and outgoing girls!!! Very cozy and chill place to be!!! Best local place for traveling, bus stop at their front door, 10 mins walk could lead to many landscapes and nice bars, shops and restaurants!! Have gardens just across the street for wonderful dog 🐶 walking. On top of that, 2mins walk to Bristol swimming pool and gym accessible...
