"Hotel and our room were clean albeit a bit tired and could do with a bit of TLC. We have a dog and this hotel is very dog friendly, ate an excellent meal in the bar in the evening and a nice breakfast in the dining room. Staff were excellent throughout, only downfall was the road up to the car park through an archway and then a very bendy narrow road upwards and the car park itself which could be challenging for some. "

"Only problem was I arrived late and was forced to pay there and then rather than wait to sort it out in the morning which really annoys me; with the staff saying I could not go to my room until it was paid for "

"It was a bit weird to see it's a sports bar but the staff were really friendly. Check in was swift and our room had everything we needed. We ate in the bar and the food was very well priced for large portions. Lasagnewas amazing and served with fresh salad. Breakfast was amazing value with good quality ingredients and quick service. Easy level walk into lovely Alcester."

"This 16th century pub has it all! Clean, spacious rooms, popular British ales and delicious, reasonably priced food. We spent two nights here before walking the Cotswold way and the location was perfect, right in the center of town, yet cozy and quiet. Our room was quaint, and historic but had all the modern conveniences, and the bathroom was the size of a dance hall! The staff were warm and friendly. From check-in to the final good bye, they couldn’t do enough for us!"
