"I don't even know where to begin.. This city (Fortaleza) charges you $50.00 for any hotel practically and has some of the most unsanitary establishment and rooms I've come across. Black mold and filth in our bedroom and bedroom mirror, dirty appearance overall for the room, unkept hallway with filth built up, and as for the lobby, a HUGE amount of black mold all over the mirrors on the second floor (which is visible when walking into the entrance). The manager barely agreed to a refund,...

"I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. It is very close to the Beira Mar and beaches. The staff were wonderful, helpful, and resolved any problems immediately. It's not a five star hotel but it's an excellent value."

"After the initial nine hours, when I realized that there was no security for my passport, credit cards, cash and computer, I left the hotel and never returned. Therefore, this visit (which I added and paid for before arriving in Fortaleza) actually never happened. The first visit was for the dates of January 4-7, 2020, which barely happened, and this one was for the dates of January 7-9, 2020, when I had no reason to return there, as the service was beyond unacceptable."

Único problema do hotel é que o acesso pra idosos com dificuldade de locomoção e cadeirantes é muito ruim, pelo que notei o hotel só possui escadas. "

"It is an old building falling apart. This hotel unfortunately falls short of expectations, particularly when contrasted with the polished images presented online. While the front desk staff showed commendable hospitality, that was the extent of the positive experience. The condition of the rooms was disappointing, with issues such as uncleanliness, torn curtains, an odorous mattress, and dirty windows. Although the breakfast selection appeared adequate, the refusal to prepare fresh scrambled...

"I was concerned because it was so cheap, and because it was my first time in Fortaleza. But it was totally sufficient and safe. I arrived at 3am and the guy spoke english and was friendly. Very convenient and cheap!"

"A reasonably good value for location space and apartment size. TV had poor clarity and some outlet/switches were not functional. Kitchen was well equipped. Housekeeping was on request and then did a spotless job when used. Security for complex was excellent even during the New Year celebration that was a block away. This is my third stay with a Solemar apartment and will be my go to when in Fortaleza."
