Breakfast was subpar ( juice tasted like water, food was eatable. Long walk to Beira mar. When I was there in March was hot as hell ( meaning: I was drenched in sweat). Beautiful view, but noisy outside from the fish market

Property is nicely located. However, the hotel is dated and the employees are extremely rude and careless. If you are lucky enough to get a room, high floor, facing Iracema beach you are good to to. Else, you will face the "favela" and port of Mucuripe.. Just beware of what you are getting into. Overall, very disappointed!!

NIGHMARE CHECK-IN: Having stayed in 2007 for 45 days at Iate Plaza Hotel, we returned for 16 days. Upon check-in on Feb 17 at 11:50PM Wesley Nascimento (front-desk night auditor/clerk) irresponsibly issued several keys of defective rooms that were terribly maintained. In one of rooms was already occupied by another guess. Yes, this irresponsible employee gave me the key to a room that was occupied by a NAKED MEN who was passed out (perhaps drunk) in a couch as soon as we entered the unit well passed midnight. The standard of care/occupancy of some units made our entire stay very stressful). For the first week we were UNWELCOME and discriminated by the entire staff (gossipers who who were too busy to do their work) . I took the time to document every occurrence with videos and photos in case they turned against my wife and I which they actually did. Here's a laundry list of blatant defects: broken door knobs, rusted and noisy hinges, gaps between the front door of the units and the doorjamb with a space enough for someone to easily pry open the door and enter the room; dirty towels with lipstick stains, broken bathroom faucet handles. We changed rooms 4 times. The ENTIRE hotel staff (including the "security", doorman and restaurant servants) were confrontational and made us a feel threatened when they learned that I would dispute the charges with AMEX and report their horrible conduct to the administration which I did in a meeting who acknowledged their wrongdoing.

Bom para família por ser um quarto grande, com comodidades como microondas, dois espaços separados para dormir. Estacionamento com manobrista não incomodou nem demorou. Café da manhã bom. Área da piscina boa, com bons restaurantes. Ar condicionado pingando (resolvido afastando a cama) TV não funciona (somente liga, não pega nenhum canal e não é smart) como minha reserva foi de dois quartos em andares diferentes e estava assim nos dois quartos, significa que não era um problema casual. (Não resolvido). Internet pessima em todos os cômodos. Boa Vista, em alguns quartos.

O ar condicionado estava pingando na cama, solicitei a troca de quarto e fui atendida. A tv não é smart, o que é um absurdo para um hotel dessa categoria e o controle da tv não tinham pilhas. A piscina do hotel é pequena. O ponto positivo é a vista privilegiada e o café da manhã, com variedade suficiente.

O hotel não vale o preço cobrado.
O hotel não vale o preço cobrado. Tudo muito velho, o banheiro tem péssimas condições, o que utilizei estava com vazamento no sifão da pia, a lixeira quebrada, assento em tamanho incompatível com o vaso sanitário, além de desconfortável, o chuveiro ficava dentro de uma banheira que parecia muito frágil e vazava água, fiquei com medo dela quebrar durante o banho. O quarto não é totalmente limpo e tem muita poeira nos móveis que são feios e sem manutenção. Tem uma pequena cozinha sem os artigos necessários para sua utilização. Não tem Netflix e a TV a cabo é velha e sem qualidade de imagem, fica falhando todo tempo. O estacionamento é feito por um funcionário do hotel e as vezes demora bastante para a entrega do carro. O local do café da manhã é muito frio e os pães endurecem. A vista da praia é bonita e a área da piscina é boa, tem um elevador panorâmico e controle na entrada de pessoas por reconhecimento facial, bem necessário na área do hotel que fica ao lado de uma comunidade um pouco perigosa.
