"Excellent quality room and bathroom. Very good water pressure for the shower. Good quality breakfast too. I was able to park easily on a day that wasn’t busy. The road near the hotel also has free parking after 6pm until 8am if needed. "

The en suite bathroom was clean if a little tired looking but had all amenities one would want. The breakfast was great but the dining room was rather plain. "The staff at the pub were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The room was as advertised, spacious with a comfy bed, Freeview TV, and ensuite which was a little snug but perfectly usable. The room got a little cold and I couldn't find a way to fully close the bathroom window but that didn't matter too much once I was under the duvet. I was warned that I was staying above a pub on a weekend even so, the noise never got too loud or disruptive, if anything it made my solo stay feel a little...

"Beautiful old building, lovely interior straight out of an adventure novel. Good breakfast, pub for tea 10 minutes walk away. Only snag was the room felt hot for a northener, good job the window and skylight opened easily, a really good break had by all."
