"Historical building which has been heavily invested in to upgrade. Bathroom lovely, lift slow but steady. We loved the history behind the hotel, we did not love the parking which was VERY tight, nor the fire alarm blaring at 11pm, or the amorous couple in the room beside us. We heard every episode! Beds comfortable as were the pillows. Rooms were serviced daily. Meals were available. I feel an exhaust fan to the bathroom would be a terrific improvement "

"Staff were very good and helpful. Lady on front desk very pleasant on check in. And the meal in the restaurant was delicious 😋 and the staff in the restaurant very good and helpful with my coeliac diet. Only negative was the wall's were paper thin and we could hear everything from next door. Especially in the bathroom. We did enjoy the stay. Was easy to walk to the bridge from the hotel as well. "

"The stay was OK. This is definitely designed as a business hotel with extras. Also there were no local facilities so if you needed anything you had to drive. The fixtures and fittings were reasonable but dated. The view was a brick wall. For a family stay ok but definitely a business hotel."

"I loved staying here with my son. The owners and staff went over and above all expectations to accommodate my neurospicy son. The building is honestly amazing, the renovations bringing the charm of the original architecture through. The bar and grill areas are welcoming, chilled and very laid back. "A nice room above a nice pub. Breakfast isn't included, but it's a short walk into Ironbridge for all the cafes and shops there. The car park is huge but it also a popular spot for drinkers by the river. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was noisy until pub closing, but this wasn't a problem as it is a room above a pub."
