"The property is one of its kind and rated well with my expectations. The location is prominent enough with plenty of food options within and close by (within 5 min drive). The hot springs were the best part and parking was super convenient. Food was decent however, lacks variety. Morning breakfast was not the best and could have been better on both variety and quantity. Specially during the lag 30 min before closing. Restaurant staff were not that friendly and lacked energy. Not a deal breaker,...

Excellent for the price range. not the Hilton, nor the price, so very good for the price range. Need a vehicle if you wish to go to town as too far to walk. La Fortuna is a great place to visit, lots to do and many restaurant choices in town..12 min drive. Nice pool area, hiking and waterfalls at your door step. "

"We had a lovely stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The facilities are in very good condition. Staff is very helpful but not overbearing. Daniel at reception was great. The location is close to the main drag but two short blocks away so relatively quiet and very safe. The vibe is totally Pura Vida. We would happily return here. "

"The cottages were well spaced apart with plants/shubbery providing added privacy. The showers provided full size hygiene products that were better quality than what we had brought which came in handy since you end up showering more than expected with all of the expeditions available. The only thing that would be an added bonus is if this property had a laundry facility for guests."

"This Arenal Montechiari is a great deal for price conscious travelers it’s an older property and a little rustic, but very clean with exceptional service. It’s perfect for tourists in that it’s walking distance to many restaurants in downtown La Fortuna. Almost all of the local sightseeing activities offer shuttles to and from the hotel. Great breakfast too! No wifi in rooms but is available in reception and the restaurant. Would definitely stay again."

"The property was well looked after. Comfortable with an amazing few of the volcano and Arenal Lake Need a car as it is a little out of the way. Nice breakfast and the restaurant served lunch & dinner. We a nice dinner with a wonderful view. We enjoyed our stay "
