"Amazing romantic getaway with one of the best restaurants in Costa Rica!"

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."

"The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Our cabin overlooked the trees with birds galore. Plenty of trails around the property with a fish hatchery, flowers, fruit, etc. we opted for breakfast the first day but didn’t realize we were to tell them on the next day. Not sure what happened. Defiant would stay again. Pool was freezing so we couldn’t enjoy it very much when we were there. "

"This was a beautiful property, with birds flying all around and lots of nice places to relax - hammock swings, seating on patio, hot tub & bar, communal dining space. Note that the only indoor space are the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and all communal or spcializing space is outdoors. This would be a great place for two couples or a group. You should have a vehicle since its a 10-15 min drive into the main town and to restaurants, which we liked so it was away from the noise etc. The beds were...

"Casa Cielo is a unique experience that typifies Costa Rica's laidback lifestyle and joy of the environment. We stayed 2 weeks and were awakened every morning by a pair of the local blue jays banging on the windows. We were visited by a troupe of Capuchin monkeys, a bold, red, tufted ear squirrel and a variety of birds. A gecko and baby iguana were in the bedroom- never caused problems, it was cool. Any organic food remains (apple cores, banana peels, watermelon rinds) were thrown out the window...

"No daily room service. Have to request the WiFi code but overall we would definitely stay again. Loved the seculedness of each room. Maybe add a second set of stairs to the hot tub. Beautiful rooms and beautiful property. "
