"What do you get for £69 quid these days? Not a lot. The staff are excellent, the bed is comfortable, and the room is tired but clean. Breakfast is served from 7 to 9, with plenty to choose from and cold. The evening meal vast choice if you like Indian but only fish or scampi as an alternative. Very limited, as a place for workers good, for those who like a choice in cuisine not good and a longer stay not good. 2 days long enough. "Really friendly staff, would have been 5 stars but my door card didn’t work when I checked in and I had to go back to reception where a very friendly young man apologised and sorted me out immediately, he was a credit to the hotel."
