"This is our fourth stay. Good location, close to Metro, shopping. Good hot water, A/C and enough TV channels. Staff always there to help us. They keep this property clean. Friendly staff!! Some minor Maintenace issues were noticed, loose plug points or not working ones. As we had five people in two bedrooms apartment we had to ask more towels, plates, cups, spoons. Did not see kitchen rag or dish washer soap, but later we got some."

"We have used Golden Sands 3 and 5 on and off for 25 years, The staff,as ever, are friendly, polite and always helpful. The apartments in 5 are comfortable and very tidy however they are starting to show their age, Golden Sands 3 has had a recent make over and looks fantastic its about time for 5 to recieve the same attention. The area is ideally located for local shops and dining and is within easy walking distance to the Metro. We will be returning in 2026/27 and are looking forward to it."

"It is a run-down hotel with a moldy bathroom, cobwebs behind the bathroom doors, and a chaotic breakfast area. The reception service was ok but not professional. Check-in was delayed by 30 min as the room was not ready. I will not recommend this place to any business traveler. "
